PROMISING YOUNG AMERICAN DRIVER RYAN TVETER SIGNED TO JENSEN MOTORSPORT DEVELOPMENT DEAL 13 April 2011…/Jensen MotorSport is excited to announce that talented young American driver Ryan Tveter has been signed to a long-term development deal. Tveter, a 16 year old from Oyster Bay, New York, has been impressive in extensive private testing where he has shown that he possesses the speed, commitment, and character that form the key ingredients to be a winning professional race car driver. As part of his development program, Ryan Tveter will continue testing throughout spring and summer 2011. Tveter will make his first race start as part of the Jensen MotorSport team in the Formula Tour 1600 series at the prestigious Montreal Grand Prix together with Formula One on the weekend of June 10-12. Team owner and mentor Eric Jensen states, “Our team has a long and successful history with helping to develop the careers of many successful young race car drivers. Ryan is clearly an exceptional talent, and with an optimal development plan in the early stages, we expect that Ryan will have a very successful racing career.” Besides a passion for racing, Ryan Tveter is also a successful student in his junior year at the highly selective and academically rigorous Choate Rosemary Hall school in Connecticut.
